Lee Kane, DC

I have been providing chiropractic healthcare to people in New England for over 20 years. People who come to see me often comment on how well I listen, my thoroughness, and how effective my chiropractic treatments are.

An honors graduate of the State University of New York, I was living in the upper Pioneer Valley when disabling neck pain challenged me to find relief. When I finally discovered chiropractic, I was impressed by the way that my doctor was able to clearly identify the problem and explain it to me. He knew exactly how to correct it, and his capable treatment enabled me to quickly return to work and daily activities. After that, I could think of nothing more rewarding than being able to provide that kind of care to others.

I completed the intense four-year program at Life Chiropractic College-West in Hayward, California in 1987, graduating Summa Cum Laude. On returning to New England, I practiced in Connecticut for nearly six years before settling in Amherst in 1994.

I enjoy outdoor activities, especially mountain biking and skiing.

She is continuously refining an original, unique synthesis of manual, movement and mind-body therapies that has emerged from her study and experience with: medical and orthopedic massage and other manual therapies; Structural Yoga Therapy; neuromuscular re-education and somatic disciplines; nutritional healing; dance and movement therapy, as well as mind-body work including breath-work, imagery and relaxation techniques. Her bodywork method incorporates all these approaches, actively engaging clients and leaving them with tools to facilitate their own healing.

More recently, Lenore has created and teaches a therapeutic movement and healing course, to safely and creatively address participants’ individual needs.
